Nicholas J. Economakos

Nicholas Economakos earned his law degree while on the Dean's List at Chicago-Kent College of Law, and was a member of the Chicago-Kent Trial Team Advocacy Program, ranked top-three in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.  He earned a bachelor's degree and graduated cum laude while captaining the NCAA Division One Men's Ice Hockey Team at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.  While completing his senior year at R.P.I., and before attending law school, Mr. Economakos played professional hockey in New Jersey, Texas and California.  

Mr. Economakos is a trial lawyer with experience in numerous areas of both criminal and civil litigation including personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, civil rights and divorce.  Mr. Economakos has successfully initiated and concluded numerous trials, arbitrations and mediations receiving favorable verdicts for his clients.

Nicholas Economakos was admitted into the Illinois State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois General Bar and Trial Bar in 2012.  He is an active member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association.  He continues to mentor and coach law student trial advocacy teams at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
